Propinquity Challenge

Propinquity Challenge
The Propinquity Challenge is coming again for the employees of Loveland Ski Area.  This is an all mountain competition to find the best all around department.  There will be hiking, rails, giant slalom, an all mountain relay and scavenger hunt.  An employee open mic and award ceremony will follow in the Rathskeller.  The top prise is to take home the Propinquity Trophy

Nathan McEuen is best described in his bio as Americana.
Americana /əˌmɛrɪˈkɑːnə/ adj. - 1. Too Rock for Country; too Country for Rock; too Funk for Folk; too green for Bluegrass.

Nathan McEuen is a singer/songwriter, raised in Clear Creek County, now  based out of Ventura, CA,  soon to release his NEW album with his father John McEuen and brother Jonathan McEuen,  and is traveling through to the county of his youth March 13th.  On his cross country tour from California to Washington D.C. he will be making his only Colorado stop at The Alpine here in Georgetown Colorado. This will be March 13th, 2012 Starting at 5:00PM and going to 8:00. Come down and show your support for this Homegrown Hero of Clear Creek County.  We will see you there!

Amanda Capper Friday, Feb. 24th

Amanda Capper is coming to the Alpine Friday, February 24th. 

Amanda is a singer songwriter with a jazzy voice.  She has been playing the Denver scene for the last few years from the Walnut Room to Red Rocks and is coming to the Alpine one night only before she heads off to Nashville, TN.  Nicholas Regester will open @ 6:00 pm with Amanda playing from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Homegrown Heroes is coming back with a similar line up as last year.  We are now booking for the Alpine Bar and Restaurant in Georgetown, Colorado.  We will be starting the last week in February introducing a Wednesday Night Open Mike, that's Leap Year Day February 29th.  All are invited to come; preform, listen, eat, drink, and enjoy a night out on the town.  Music will start at 5:30 pm and go till the talent runs thin.  Performers are welcome to showcase there talent whether it is music, poetry, comedy, or drama. 

Also on the billet,  There will be music every Saturday Night from 6:00 to 8:30 and a Monthly Friday Night Band.  One night a week the Alpine will host a late night show from 8:00 to Midnight with special guests and a reasonable Cover starting off with Clear Creeks own Nathan McEuen.  Please come and enjoy the new music line up and stay posted for further information as we move in to February.
